A psychiatrist wanted to test the effects of four new drugs on schizophrenic patients. He randomly selected 40 schizophrenic patients and randomly assigned them to four groups 10 patients per group. Group 1 received Drug 1, Group 2 received Drug 2, Group 3 received Drug 3, Group 4 received Drug 4. At the end of a thirty day treatment with these drugs, he gave the patients a test that measured incidence of psychotic behavior.
