Identify the design-case 11
A psychiatrist wanted to test the effects of three new drugs on echolalia (echolalia is the behavior of repeating what you hear, as in echo) of schizophrenic patients. He randomly selected 30 schizophrenic patients and randomly assigned them to three groups, 10 patients per group. Group 1 received Drug 1, Group 2 received Drug 2, Group 3 received Drug 3. Ten hours later he tested the patients and counted the patients who showed echolalia. Identify the statistical design. Give your answer in the comments space below.

Observe! "he counted". Read the experiment carefully, he counted, so his data are nominal scale of measurement! This book also teaches design! The chapters on scales of measurement are fun.
