A psychiatrist wanted to test the effects of two new drugs on serotonin levels of schizophrenic and depressive patients.
He randomly selected 20 schizophrenic patients and randomly assigned them to two groups, Group 1 and Group 2, 10 patients per group. He also randomly selected 20 depressive patients and randomly assigned them to two groups, Group 3 and Group 4, 10 patients per group. He then gave Drug 1 to Group 1 and Group 3, he also gave Drug 2 to Group 2 and Group 4.
Ten hours later he measured the content of serotonin in the patients blood in nano liters. Identify the statistical design.
